Base Requirements

  1. Unity 2020.3.0f1 or higher

  2. TextMeshPro 3.0.1 or higher installed

Note: For TextMeshPro versions older than 3.0.1, you'll need to use our tool to fix font and atlas assets.

How to install TextMeshPro

If you haven't installed TextMeshPro yet

  1. Open Unity Package Manager (Window > Package Manager)

  2. Select "Packages: Unity Registry" from the dropdown menu

  3. Find "TextMeshPro" in the list

  4. Click "Install" or "Update" if already installed

To use TextMesh Pro in your projects, you need to import the TMP Essential Resources.

From the menu, select Window > TextMeshPro > Import TMP Essential Resources

This adds the essential resources to the TextMesh Pro folder in the Project.
